Extra Virgin Olive Oil picudo Priego de Córdoba Protected Designation of Origin. It is a product with an intense and fruity flavor, which carries with it an aroma of exotic fruits, tomato, apple and almond. It has a slight bitterness that pleases the most demanding palate. This EVOO is an early harvest, since it is harvested in the months of October and November in the olive groves of this Córdoba region, located in the heart of the Cordillera Subbetica. These olive trees are centenarians and millenarians, which have been cared for and bequeathed to future generations. From this inheritance from generation to generation comes the name of this EVOO 'Legatum', a Latin word that means 'legacy'. It is also an oil with a high content of linophneols and polyphenols.
Apart from obtaining the Priego de Córdoba Protected Denomination of Origin, this product has won the 8th Spain-Portugal Iberian EVOO Contest and the Gran Mezquita 2021 Award and the Award for Best Non-Bitter Green Fruity PDO.
